The Economic Development Board Association (EDBA) is a non-profit, non-partisan, charity limited by guarantee. Its organization serves sustainable local economic developers. Sustainable economic developers promote economic well-being, a good quality of life for their communities and care for the environment by creating, retaining and expanding jobs that facilitate sustainable growth, enhance wealth and create a healthy future.
From public to private, rural to urban, EDBA's members are encouraged to engage in a full range of economic development experience. EDBA can support a breadth of local economic development work with a variety of members: chambers of commerce, colleges, corporations, councils, churches, community groups and more.
We support our members to create high-quality jobs, develop vibrant communities, and improve the quality of life while looking after the environment in their regions.
